Philip Loving III fashion designer and artist, brings art to life by painting stunning abstract art on women high heels for over 10 years. A native of Flint, Michigan and product of Flint/Beecher community schools, Philip attended International Academy of Design in Troy, Michigan.

 

Coming from a family of artists, Philip was inspired by a painting by uncle and artist Al Loving who was one of the first African American artist. "When I saw his [art] work...all of the bright and mixed colors, I knew this was what I wanted to do," stated Philip. As his talents of being an artist increased so did his interests. Prior to creating the beautiful art work on shoes, Philip was designing prom dresses and the shoes became more of a hit. That's when Philip found his "ah-ha" moment and decided to make "shoe art." Philip explains how he's inspired and honored to fill his uncle's shoes. Philip also adds that he enjoys painting because he doesn't worry about the stresses of the world, painting provides comfort and added blessings.

 

As CEO and creator of WalkNArt, Philip has created designer shoes for celebrities including Keri Hilson, LeToya Locket and MC Lyte. Philip designs has also appeared on clothing lines such as Bebe, Steve Madden to name a few and his shoes can also be purchased at R&B artist LeToya Luckett's LaElle Boutique in Houston, TX. Appearing in the recently highlighted Macy's fashion show in Detroit, Michigan; Philip has turned heads with his one of a kind designs and states "no shoe is the same".
